By studying Amazon’s disclosures and expense trends, the project explores the economic activities behind each cost category, the accounting treatment applied, and the impact of these expenses on profitability and business strategy. The analysis also highlights key trends in Amazon’s spending patterns, revealing how the company allocates capital toward logistics, technology, innovation, and operational growth.
